Dream
Dreamt me and a bunch of friends (you people) were in a hotel or something somewhere. I suddenly felt compelled to go take a shower so I went out of the room, down some stairs, through what looked sort of like a dank, dimly lit parking structure, and through a door, which was the shower.
The shower was really weird. It was basically a gigantic, bleak, Saw-esque room (though at the time it reminded me of HL2, it was lit using a similar color pallet), the controls and the bath faucet were next to the door, but the actual shower head was across the room so I had to turn it on and test the temperature through the faucet, then turn on the shower head and make my way across the room.
As I was taking my shower I noticed that the room had been filling up with water and it was up to about my waist, because the faucet was still sort of leaking. I waded across the room (now uncomfortable and creeped out because I had the feeling that something was in the water with me), toggled the faucet a little and it sort of stopped leaking, and started back across the shower. I was contemplating swimming across because the water seemed deep enough, but I felt something brush against my leg then I woke up.
Interp:
The whole thing is probably symbolic of my coming year in school. I feel like I'm really going to need to scale back my social life (wash myself of my friends) but I'm also worried that maybe its not a good idea to take the class load I'm taking. The closeness of the faucet and the distance to the shower-head probably symbolize how its a lot easier to passively take a bath than to take a shower and I always feel like I want to take the more challenging path, but it seems like no matter my intension I always end up being a lazyass anyway (the room filling up like a bath against my will).
