I love this site, it's awesome, thanks for posting it! I'm trying to think of the book you're talking about but I'm not sure, the only non-WW RPing book I have is Deliria, but I'm pretty sure there were no lawsuits involved. If you go to Laughingpan.com you can check it out more.
