So, the latest
Work is going pretty well. We have some new people who have joined us, they're nice. I'm a bit stressed at the moment because I have to interview a client by myself on Wednesday, and I think his case is a bit of a lost cause. Oh well.
I have a car! I bought it two weeks ago and have been happily zipping all over the place in new-found freedom. Unfortunately it has become a bit of an excuse to take forever to get ready for work (because I can just drive to the train station if it looks like I will miss the bus.) I am trying to a get out of that habit, because driving to the train station means less time to read.
Speaking of which, recently I have managed to get through
- Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut
- Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K Dick
- Accelerando by Charles Stross
- and I have almost finished Wicked by Gregory Maguire.
In the time it took to read those four I have of course obtained more than four extra books :/
Next on my list are The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and V for Vendetta (the latter for book club). I bought V for Vendetta today actually, from Quality Comics. I happened to be down that end of town looking at reception venues (omg, my description in this year's fresher guide is not wrong. This project will be a lot of work :P)

Not sure if I will stick with this colour scheme, because it will probably make finding suits really difficult, but its pretty!
Aaaand...I could be taking up hockey again soon. Hopefully I can remember what to do with the stick?
