[It's early evening Saturday. And Lemina and Shinpachi are down on the planet on their second date. She's dressed exceptionally casual for the warm weather: a pink blouse with an empire waist, black capris, mary jane shoes with white socks. Still wearing her normal black hair ribbon, though. And the necklace he gave her for her birthday, of course!]
[It's been a long day, and Lemina's starting to drag her heels, so they're finishing things up by standing in line for the largest and all-around best ferris wheel on the planet, with the flat-out best view in the system, and one of the top 100 in the galaxy!]
[Which, naturally, means they've been waiting in this line for a long time.]
[They planned ahead, though, buying food that they could eat in line for dinner. Not as elegant as a nice dinner in a restaurant, but at least it's practical. And Lemina had to admit, the look on Shinpachi's face had been worth it when she made him feed her the first bite of her sandwich.]
[Anyway, dinner only lasted so long, and the line for much longer. It was well over an hour later that they finally arrived at the front of the line and were allowed to board the ride.]
[At which point Lemina was quick to grab Shinpachi's hand and lead the way to a specific car.]
Come on! This way!
[She had been watching the wheel for most of the ride, and had figured out that, based on the rotation pattern, this was the car that would stop at the very top.]
[The weather had been warming up, so Shinpachi felt that maybe his traditional look could be abandoned for one night. Not to mention that characters needed to change their wardrobe every so often in order to appear fresh! Today, he'd decided on a dark blue t shirt and some nice khaki shorts. Just the perfect amount of casual!]
[And, needless to say, he'd been trying to figure out the same thing Lemina had been focusing so intently on. But between juggling their dinner, keeping his nerves to a point where he wasn't a shaking wreck, and stopping people from cutting (usually with a swift kick or jamming his fingers into their nostrils and throwing them) he'd lost track.]
[He hadn't even realized they made it to the front! He thought they would close well before they'd make it but, suddenly he was being tugged away.]
[He peers out and takes in the view. It was that time of the evening where the sun had fully gone over the horizon, but the sky was that off-blue and purple mix that just barely let you see the twinkling of stars beyond. But, more impressive than that, were the massive streaks of color splitting the sky, denoting the illuminated hyper coasters and water slides that encircled the planet.]
[The roller coaster cars rocketed by every few seconds, like rainbow comets in the evening sky.]
[The horizon glowed like a radiant gold, and endless carnival stretching as far as the eye could see in all directions, constantly in perpetual motion as the rides continued on. A part of the park was always open on this planet, after all...]

[Ladies first! She climbs into the car and... well, hogs the seat a bit. Hey, at least it means she'll be getting nice and cozy with him.]

[And they're not even a quarter of the way up yet!]

[... and somehow, she fails to grasp what he's suggesting.]

[Something from his home, she wonders? Or a planet they visited before this one?]

[And when it hits her, suddenly her whole face is glowing like the sunset.]

[It's an awkwardly heartwarming scene.]
[The ferris wheel slows to a stop... and just as Lemina predicted, they're at the very top. They can see everything from up here.]

Look! You can see the teacup park from here! It looks like an itty-bitty dollhouse!
