A glorious and thankful thing: They had snow in Cameron Park, and here's Bryan and Jack in the snow!

I forgot birthdays -- Happy Birthday, Rusty!!!!
It's day 2 in POD-land -- it arrived yesterday, and for us large machine geeks, the POD-zilla was really cool. It lifts the thing vertically off the truck and sets it on the ground where you want it.
The major problems have been two-fold: Money, and storage space. The POD has a lot of room, but not enough for my stuff even with the slimmer possessions. And I have no working capital.
So, the new plan:
- Sell my car. This will give me working capital I desperately need. Glee has a car, can't drive yet, and when I get a job I can get a clunker or take public transit or whatever.
- This will let me stay in the apartment another two weeks. I can get a second POD, put the rest of the stuff (Largely the big furniture that doesn't sell) in, and have all my stuff in one place.
In the meantime, I will continue to let those who are willing drive me around (paying for their gas, of course), and keep my brain slightly more in one piece.
I'll continue to ship clothes, etc. to Glee, and then can fly down (I've got at least 3 RT FF flights on SW at the moment).
This will let me get out in a slightly less rushed manner, get the apartment clean, etc.
I am continuing to pack, sort & sell books, etc. I canceled the Yard sale on Saturday (put up a notice) because we won't be able to move in here as we still have too many boxes not loaded.
EDD has decided to dispute my ability to drive from Cameron Park to San Jose in time to report for work the next day should I need to. Apparently Cameron Park is too far away. I'll probably end up in a hearing. These guys. Sheese!
More Packing!
