[Certainly, Satoshi had been expecting to disappear from Hinamizawa soon, but he wasn't expecting to wake up in yet another cheery little town, with a lady calling herself his mother pushing him out the door with gentle words of encouragement.
He would have found it a nice change had he not been so thrown off by these events. Satoshi's first instinct was to turn back around and plead for some answers, but the door now separating them remained firmly locked.
So instead Satoshi sat down blankly in front of the house, choosing for now to go through the contents of his new backpack and attempt to work out that weird...machine thing that had beeped in his pocket when he ended up outside. He's at a loss right now. Somewhere along the lines he drops his only filled Pokéball, releasing his starter in the process. That was a surprise for both of them.
The pokégear clicks on -entirely on accident- to reveal a very confused-looking blonde boy staring blankly down at the screen. A Pokémon can be heard, trilling worriedly in the background. Satoshi glances behind nervously at the noise, but doesn't do much else.]
