This is probably my favorite bull shark photo captured at shark reef. It became iconic image of Beqa Adventure Divers promotional campaign taking central spot at posters and ads around the Fiji, and as you probably noticed - it became my avatar which I use on many networks, including LiveJournal and Facebook. Well, I guess everybody just loves smiling sharks, isn't it ? ^_^
It was shot probably from 40cm distance while shark was swallowing fish head. On that day we had strong surf current even at 16 meters, so shark suddenly was almost thrown at me - I think I fired shot reflectively, while trying to push it away with camera ^_^
