Buy new, prefer old.
Hi, guys. It's been a while. Probably if I thoought long enough there would be a lot to tell but since I just came to complain, I won't think too much, haha. ;)
Well, so let's start. A week ago my mom wanted to buy a new laptop (I have a laptop but my parents have our old PC - it's a real turtle). Anyway, the one that she wanted me to check wouldn't be good enough in my opinion (my parents likes computer games), so I found other model. Of course it was more expensive but it was good and had everything they needed BUT me being me wanted to take the new one and give my parents my old laptop. I was really excited but when I finally turned it on, I started crying. You want to know why? I'm still not so sure myself. Maybe I was just sentimental (I had my old laptop for more than 4 years and it's still good). But the main point might be that the new one has the newest version of the system which looks/is quite bad - I don't like it much, but it's so clear and the space on it - it was like a dream! (Especially that my old one is almost full and there's almost nothing there!!! How's that possible???!!!)
I want the new laptop for its space on its hard drive but I don't like the sytem, while I love the system in my old laptop but hate how it's full. At the end I decided to stay with my old buddy and make the new laptop as a home computer for everyone.
Do you think that problem solved? You're wrong, problems just started.
At first everythin was okay, the system was working normally for two days. I downloaded some programs that I knew are good and have on my old laptop and gave my mom to learn how to use the new programs. Later yesterday she turned it off and it was trying to update itself BUT the fu***ing thing got a problem! When I turned it on today, there a problem with the system. I was trying to repair it and was about to give up when I decided to change a little a 'method' of repairing. It did the trick and I could work on it again but that s***t delated ALL the programs, even the ones I didn't downloaded but the guy in the shop did (he was also the one who installed the system). I was really angry.
I installed some things again and turned it off. Now it's trying to update itself again. 45 updates; it's on 10th, 30 to go. Wish me luck. I don't won't more problems and I hope it will update itself without a problem. Yay! It got to 12, 28 to go.
