Trying As Hard As I Can
News of Late:
I'm continuing to read for Casting Directors, Casting Associates and others while submitting for different projects, etc. I'm about to leave for another workshop in about 20 minutes.
My buddy Jimmy is playing the lead in an ABC pilot called "Brothers and Detectives." If it gets picked up you're going to see him next fall in the show. It's crazy to think he's only two years out of college and if it gets picked up, he's going to be a star. I'm very happy for him, the kid has always been nothing but the best to me and the people around him. Here's hoping ABC picks it up!
I'm trying like hell to find a weekend job for more spending money, etc. I've even considered bartending, though that goes against everything I said when I left Red Robin. But it would be a good way to earn extra money and perhaps meet people. We'll see. I have a day job right now at a real estate company, www.wcre.net, that pays the bills for the most part and they allow me to go out on auditions. But I'd still like to get out on the weekends and work to earn some more.
Boring update, but I wanted to drop something before it gets to a month between posts. More later.
