Goodbye Dart.
So I said goodbye to my Dart yesterday. I'm still extremely bummed about it. That car was my baby even if it was sitting more than moving most of the time I had it. I know it'll be up and running soon. The guy that bought it is a mechanic and he restores cars and fixes up motorcycles. We were going to do a trade, but the bike broke down like I mentioned in the previous entry. So he just paid me the cash instead.
I was planning on using the money to buy a scooter. I still am to some extent, but right now...other things are of more importance. The medical stuff is definitely top priority right now even though I took the whole family out for some good eatin'.
I did find out what was wrong with my truck and it was the starter that needed to be rebuilt. Now the truck is fine from my understanding. It just needs some new tires. I think I'll get on that pretty soon. I just bought my new tags for it today so now I can drive it again. Oh how I missed my truck.
Roller derby on Sunday and The Aggrolites next Wednesday. Two things I'm lookin' forward to. Here's hoping nothing gets in the way of those plans.
Pushing forward in my life has been extremely rough for me. I think I'm still craving for something familiar, something stable. I feel I can't find that right now. Things are different and I've got to accept that it's not a bad thing. Things will start to look up for me eventually. I just have to have a little bit more faith.
