Hello there readers. I just realised a good measure of how long since i've posted is the fact that I didn't know about the updated posting text...editor..thing.

I have finally picked up a new car, it's a 2003 Holden VY Commodore, Executive, and option for option, the only electric whatever toy it has that Bulma doesn't is seat tilt adjustment. recline and slide position are both still manual, power mirrors has been standed for ages.

oh and ABS.... and airbags... stupid safety measures. though both those things, touch wood I'll never NEED them, but they're good to have. and 'as standard' anyways. so I've still got manual windows, no traction control, no stability management and no fancy climate control system ( yes it has a traditional air conditioner ) oh and no, i don't even have cruise control XD

The car wound up setting me back 6500, of which I've spent 300 on new wheels, ~580 on new tyres to suit the new wheels ( Maxxis VA-1's, 235/40/17 for those playing with their technical information )  and 110 dollars spent on getting the front wheels re-aligned as the old tyres were showing signs of NASTY inside wear. turned out the toe way out ( the wheels were ...you know what, i'll save the explanation, you either know what i mean or you don't )

Works been quite good. the load has been weird, on weeks we get barely any stock in we're up to our noses in orders, the one week were we get a MASSIVE load ( 14 pallets compared to our 7 average ) and then end-of-month order rush on top... and I came home early today because there was nothing much to do along with tomorrow likely being the same kind of situation. go figure.

The recent PFG was nice, I didn't socialise all that much, between people getting into their own circles and me not having much common ground with most other furries meant I spent my time either hovering around or trying to organise some good combinations for the photo-scavenger hunt, managed to get about a third of the list in one shot at one point, shout out to those that helped participate, Ticky being one that I can remember off the top of my head.

I haven't been getting much chance to take Koemi anywhere on the basis that asshole's ute is out of action from an accident, and assholes second car seems to be having weird mechanical issues. but of course in the weekends he gets off, he'd rather go out and about than put some man hours into getting one of his two cars going. so he's been borrowing, and from what i can gather, running into the ground the lancer.

I haven't picked a name for the VY as of yet, I wanted to keep my theme of 'japanese inspired, female names that relate to traits of the car' but can't yet find a suitable one.

home life is good, though we're ready to try and have a good sping clean. a couple of pizza boxes and such too many strewn around.
with the turn of the month i've come to the realisation that in two and a bit months, it'll be my birthday again. I have no major plans of any sort at this point in time, and actually prefer not to try and have some raging party. my social circles are tight, and the people i interact with is an even tighter circle.

Other than that, I'm kind of just riding this year out, with no real plans as to what I'd like to do with either myself or next year. weird how I kind of just take what comes. I certainly wouldn't mind picking up a partner for sure, but how many single straight 22-26yo female furries (or furry friendly ) in perth that find me funny and 'a nice guy' are there? yeah. tiny number XD

So yeah, things are coming along nicely, I'm glad summer is quietly rolling in, I've been hanging out for it. OH! and for those that haven't tried, consider gotye's new album, 'making mirrors' theres a nice collection of songs and the DVD that comes with it ( some clips and behind-the-scenes ) is... well, for lack of better wording, beautiful.

for now I'll let things go and leave with my traditional question-of-the-post which is; name your favorite kind of sword, and why you like it :)

stuff, work, home, car
