Wow, how did it get to be 11:30 p.m. already? Got off my first day back at work at 10 p.m. & stopped for Mexican food on the way home as I skipped dinner & never did have any Mexican food in Monterey, catalogued a few screenplay notes, and suddenly it's nearly bedtime.
I'll try to get up the last vacation post tomorrow. I was tired & sunburnt Sunday, plus re-watched Serenity, then spent Monday at the gym & rewriting a new short screenplay. On Tuesday I fiddled around with stuff, read other screenplays, & cooked a nice dinner.
Oh, I also picked up the soundtrack to Requiem for a Dream. I never saw the movie, but I discovered Lux Aeterna from the score on YouTube after reading people complaining on a forum about how heavily it's used in film trailers. Great soundtrack, and it's going to be really helpful spooky-weird-intense inspiration on the ghost story screenplay.
