IT DIDN'T TAKE DICK TRACY TO FIND DEMOCRATS IN WOODSTOCK

Jun 25, 2007 01:25

It was cool and comfortable marching weather for the DICK TRACY DAYS PARADE in WOODSTOCK.  It was a pleasure for McHENRY COUNTY DEMOCRATS to be in a city and parade that understand and honor THE FIRST AMENDMENT!

CONGRESSWOMAN MELISSA BEAN, arriving too late to join the dignitaries at the head of the Parade, swung her contingent in line just ahead of the Party.

Crowds were thinner along the parade route and around the Square than in previous years, but the Party contingent was never more warmly welcome with cheers and applause the length of the parade.
Just to show the CRYSTAL LAKE GALA COMMITTEE, what they will be missing for banning the McHENRY COUNTY PEACE GROUP, here are some pictures.

Just some of the contingent about twenty minutes before the Parade took off.  I’m the fat guy on (where else?) the left.  It looks like my choice of headgear is becoming “tres chic.” (Photo courtesy B. J RENDINE.)
