Over night at the gas station I hear a lot of oldies on the radio.  This one reminded me of how much I loved the Mamas and Papas.  They were totally dysfunctional as human beings and John Phillips was a semi-psychopathic drug addict even then.  But he was a musical genius.  Am I allowed to still love the music, or do I have to foreswear it forever

Considering he died in 2001, I don't think his getting a royalty would be an issue.
