an art rant.
today i got out 12 books on artists and i nearly broke my arm trying to carry them all back down to the car park at uni.
im so fucking exited by my new sculpture ideas!
im gonna use some cast resin and make wikid shit. im thinking of doing a reverse andy goldsworthy, putting the made environment back into the natural environment. almost like making androids out of trees, giving natural objects new functions etc.
also rachael whitehead is the coolest artist. she makes casts of negative space, like the underneath of a table etc. im so amped on her right now.
p.s everyone go to the scotto this week as im going for the first time in about 2 months.
