Drabble: Avenging Brendan
Revisiting the past (again). Follows this.
It's a shallow cut. Drops of blood trickle down his throat, the collar of his white t-shirt changing color.
Wants him to bleed out slowly.
He recognized the bloke long before he tried to pull a knife on him.
Knows the man remembers him too. They both know it's why he didn't slit his throat properly straight away. Wants to make him wait for it, make him believe there's a slight chance he won't die.
And Patrick waits, he has all the time in the world: he's not the one dying tonight.
