8:24: I hang the phone after finishing a conversation with a friend. The idea was presented that I would go catch a bus into Seattle.
8:25: I move to the computer and search “metro trip planner”. The website comes up and I quickly fill out the form information to get the time for the next bus.
8:27: The results tell me that the bus will be driving by my neighborhood at 8:37. I walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready to go.
8:29: I walk back into my room and get my shoes on.
8:30: I put on my coat, grab my wallet, keys, ipod and cell phone. Everything goes into the correct pocket. ipod is clipped onto my jacket.
8:31: I walk out the front door
8:35: I check the time on my cell phone. I’m walking up the hill to get to the bus stop. I start to jog.
8:36: I reach the top of the hill and am going around the corner. I then see the bus drive by.
8:37: I start to run after the bus, waving my hands. It keeps driving and does not stop.
