What is the Wishlist?

The Wishlist is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. It is something that started very small and simple three years ago. The premise was simply to write twenty-four ficlets in response to twenty-four prompts, posted between 1 Dec and 24 Dec. Fandom gifts, if you will.

Sorry about the late prompt but I was one of the many east coaster who was bitch slapped by hurricane Sandy. And though I wasn't as hard hit as some (thank God), being without power for as long as I was compounded by the subsequent gas crisis, and Thanksgiving preparations, means its only now that things are starting to normalize. If you decide it's too late to include my prompt I completely understand.

Fandom: BTVS/Forever Knight
Pairing: Mostly, close familial relationships between Buffy, LaCroix, Nick and Janette, although any Nick/Janette is always appreciated
Setting: Post Chosen For BTVS. Author's Choice for Forever Knight my only caveat is that Last Night never happened (no dead Nick) and that LaCroix returned Janette in the Human Factor.

Prompt: Buffy is turned by LaCroix before she makes it home in Season 2 of Anne. Because she's a slayer and well.....Buffy, the turning goes a bit wonky. Buffy can still go out into the sun, can eat food, is not burned by crosses, and is still aging (that will stop around her mid to late twenties) and has no bloodlust. Buffy although strangely fond of her new sire, (she's always been a Daddy's girl) still wants to go back to Sunnydale. LaCroix doesn't like being far from his favorites (Buffy is on par with Nick and Janette) so they make a deal. Buffy will stay on the hellmouth until she's closes it. After which, she must spend at least a hundred years with LaCroix. Buffy agrees and goes back to Sunnydale. No one knows she's vampire. Fast forward to the end of Chosen. Buffy feels, tired, hurt, and betrayed and she's more then ready to start a new unlife with her Sire, brother, and sister. The Scoobs, Dawn, and Angel are not ready to let her go when her vampire family comes to claim her, and her secrets are revealed. Let the tug of war begin
