the incidental solo
oh, yeah, I forgot to post about this...
The words I'm singing in "Welcome Home" are:
ME (FEMALE SOLO B): Wept countless tears
MALE SOLO "C": I burned candles for you
ME: Me, I grew flow'rs
BOTH: We thought only of your future...
EVERYONE: Not ours!
Wow, how long and exciting, eh?
Good thing is though, as I think I've mentioned before, I'll be wearing a headset microphone the entire time (during the solo and chorus parts), so it's kind of like the seven of us in this song are a little vocal group unto ourselves.
Now, I have to make sure I really learn the Alto part as perfectly as I can, since I'll be the only Alto mic'ed, and if I'm off, it will be obvious to everyone, and captured on the DVD for all prosperity. ;)
