10 things
I saw this in starwishful and laneymunoz's journals, and I just had to go for it, too (yes, I know, I'm a LiveJournal lemming).
Take a look at your Friends List and list up to 10 things you want to say to 10 different LJ friends.
Some of these are quite cryptic; please forgive me for that, but that's kind of the point of this thing.
01. I can empathize with all sides of your situation. Honestly, though, I can see deep hurt coming from it eventually for everyone -- if I was on either end of things, I know I'd be heartbroken. I hope you get whatever it is you are meant to gleen from this.
02. I'm glad we somewhat randomly came across each other through mutual friends and interests. I enjoy your entries, and we often agree on a lot of topics... mostly television related, but hey, that's important, too. I love being on the "same page" like that. :)
03. I'm so sorry for what has happened with your friends. I can only say that I know (somewhat) how you feel, because I've been in a similar situation, right down to some details. Also, I haven't mentioned this lately, but I admire you so much for the vision you had, and appreciate participating in it.
04. You and I have quite a bit in common -- more and more keeps being discovered as we go. I find that so fascinating. We share a specific obsession here in LiveJournal Land, one that I think only we really can appreciate... lol! Thank you for always listening (well, reading). You probably are right now, aren't you? Yeah, I thought so.
05. Though we've never met, I still consider you a good friend. I'm always interested in what's going on with you, and even if I don't comment an awful lot, I am reading. I love how eclectic you are in the things you enjoy; mainly because I used to think I was the only one who liked "random" things from different genres.
06. I haven't been in very good touch with you lately, but please know that I think about you. You are a very caring, open lady, and you're one of the few people who really "gets" my relationship with my mom, probably because you and I are so similar in that way.
07. You are so strong. I don't think you'd take any $^*# from anyone, and yet, you still have an open mind and heart. That's a hard combination to find out there in this world -- nice people usually come across as doormats, and strong people come across as cold, but you keep a wonderful balance, and I greatly admire that.
08. Thank you for your patience and help with one of my biggest obsessions. You've taught me a lot about the topic, and led me to places to find out even more. I'm not sure I've said this, but I think you are a very talented person, and I admire you on many levels. Thanks for being you.
09. You guys are so awesome! I've been amused, and comforted by your words. We all shared the joy, and we all shared the loss. Summer tour, baby!! woo! (Yes, this one is to a community... so what? lol).
10. You're such a supportive, positive person, even if it's about something as simple as icons I've made. I really appreciate the kindness you've shown me. This place (LiveJournal) makes our world smaller, and makes us feel like we're not so far apart after all. Danke!
