life update
I haven't really been posting about my "real life" all that much lately, so I thought I'd do so now:
* California Adventures, as well as the new show, California Haunts, have both officially been picked up by WAVE TV (public access in Woodland, Davis, and Winters). Adventures will begin airing pretty soon. I'll have more of a hand in the Haunts show (helping with editing, etc), and I'm super excited! I live for the paranormal, baby! Oh! We also have a message board now. ;)
* I received the results from my recent blood work in the mail today, and everything looks great! Mom and I both laughed, because the lab people typed up "your lab tests indicate you have pre-Diabetes..." on the paper. Well, I've been a Diabetic for 14 years, so I'm in pretty good shape if my tests look like those of someone who may develop it... LOL!!! I guess the lab people didn't get the "she's Diabetic" memo. My cholesterol is great, all my blood counts, thyroid function, etc. are all great. I'm healthy! Who knew? ;)
* And now, most importantly of all, my American Idol favorites. ;)
GIRLS: Katharine McPhee, Mandisa, and Lisa Tucker. Yes, I know Stevie Scott is from Sacramento, and no, that doesn't make me like her. Sorry. Mandisa grew up here, so if I'm making a hometown pride choice, I'll take her, thanks.
GUYS: Chris Daughtry, Elliott Yamin -- Taylor Hicks, and Ace Young have been favorites before, but I didn't love them tonight.
See? I CAN write an entry without mentioning Vancouver.
