A little back story.
My first ever post on LiveJournal was on February 3, 2003. I ceased posting on February 10, 2009. SIX LONG YEARS.
It pretty much chronicled the most defining years of my life. My Graduate School years, when I met my husband (oh! those posts are nostalgic), when my Mummy passed away, our Immigration journey, our wedding and my first year in the United States. I told you it was defining.
So now I am back after moving on to both Blogger and Tumblr. Back because the next few years is going to be defining once more and it's time to chronicle it all over again. With feeling.
Note: for those that are non-LJ readers and previous friends, 99% of my posts were previously converted to "Friends Only". I have no intention to make them visible to the public again. And even today, I will choose to keep some posts private to LJ friends. Some things are just not appropriate for public consumption (which I know defies the whole purpose of a blog). But it's my party and I'll cry if I want to!
