I know you may think someone made this out of grey putty with raisins for eyes, but.... not! It's the real deal. And this one's a looker, the Brad Pitt of the blobfish world (hubba hubba).
I mean, imagine looking like this one!
Oh wait, this one might be dead.
But this harmless species is in danger of becoming extinct not because of its unfortunate fissog but because -- what it feeds on -- we humans also feed on. And the sad sad truth is that the blobfishes get dragged up in the fishing nets along with all the comparably attractive lobsters and crabs!
Be kind, let the seafood have the seafood.
