What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Had a son

Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Last years resolution was to lose weight. I did that but then got pregnant in February and gained it all back plus some!

Did anyone close to you give birth?
no

Did anyone close to you die?
No, by the grace of God.

What countries did you visit?
none

What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A sound financial plan, an idea of what I'm going to do with the rest of my life

What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Oct. 27, 2004- The day my son was born

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having my son, finally buying some furniture for our apartment

What was your biggest failure?
Still not knowing when or if I'm going back to school, being overweight, not knowing what I want to do with my life, not learning how to be patient

Did you suffer illness or injury?
The flu last winter thats about it

What was the best thing you bought?
A beige sectional couch for our living room

Whose behavior merited celebration?
Can't think of an answer to this one, at the moment I'm pissed at my husband, will explain next entry.

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Occasionally my DH, mostly myself

Where did most of your money go?
My DH's addiction to fast food, stuff for the kids

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
After initially being depressed, I got pretty excited about being pregnant, then I was REALLY excited when they told me I was having another girl (as you can tell from one of my previous answers I ended up having a boy! After getting over the shock of that I was excited to have him.

What song will always remind you of 2004?
Can't think of anything

Compared to this time last year, are you:
-happier or sadder? happier I guess
-thinner or fatter? Bigger, from giving birth to 2 children 18 months apart!
-richer or poorer? richer, DH got a few raises, with another coming up the 1st of January

What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercising, eating healthy, working on being patient, practicing being a better wife and companion, trying to make friends

What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being negative and impatient, expecting the worst.

How will you be spending Christmas?
Spent it with family in Baltimore

Did you fall in love in 2004?
With the new man in my life (my SON!)

How many one-night stands?
Never had one.

What was your favorite TV program?
Amazing Race, Starting Over (when Josie was still there)
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't "hate" anyone

What was the best book you read?
can't think of anything right now. I haven't read much except pregnancy books this year. After having my 2nd I have no time! Plus any little bit of free time I get I usually read journals.

What was your greatest musical discovery?
The theme song to Elmo's world. It's my daughter's favorite plus this Christmas she has 2 toys that play it so it's stuck in my head

What did you want and get?
A couch, a bigger TV, continued health for myself, DH and kids

What was your favorite film of this year?
Dawn of the Dead. (Scared the pants off of me and still makes me turn a light on at night if I dream or think about it!)

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Turned 20 and I don't think I did anything special because I really can't remember my birthday

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Working towards a career goal, being at my weight goal (or at least near it)

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Begining of the year, clothes that showed off the weight I was losing, most of the year anything my pregnant belly could fit into, the last couple of months sweats to work out in.

34. What kept you sane?
The grace of God. Without him I would be in an institution for sure.

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Ciara, I listen to Goodies and 1-2 step everyday and will hopefully buy her CD soon. Can't think of anything else.

What political issue stirred you the most?
The presidential election. How is it possible!?

Being a young couple is HARD! A young couple with 2 kids, 100x's HARDER!
Things take time and patience and I need to learn to invest more of both into the things that matter
