I don't think I've ever laighed so hard at someones opinion until today. I was reading a freind of a freind of kate's live journal (i don't even know who this girl is) but my guess is that she goes to a private school. religion is a very STRONG subject for me as you know patria and i was glad that you posted this. i'm not a huge fan of organized religion either (nor am i against it for other people). i know that it makes a lot of people happy, giving them a sense of belonging/passion for something and so on. so i don't fight against it, it's just simply not for me.
but for those bastards that look DOWN on me for it then yes, i think they're closed minded and not worth any time at all.
but very much agreed, i like this post.

I think organized religion rocks. But that probably comes from the fact that I was basically born and raised at St. A's. (not literally tho...but that would be cool!!!) But anyway...
I don't think "organized religion" is a bad thing at all. Personally, I love being Lutheran. But I can understand why some people hate putting a name to their spirituality. And there is also a big difference between religion and spirituality.
There are those weirdos who are extreme fundamentalists who take every word of the bible literally. If we Lutherans took every word literally...
we would be putting cows in the offering plates:
