So my father and brother were involved in a car accident early today; fortunately, circumstances piled up to ensure that neither of them was hurt, although the car (2003 Honda Accord) was totalled. They were hit on the passenger side by a guy running through a red light. The fortunate thing is that there was a cop driving right behind them who had witnessed the entire thing. They're both a bit shaken up, but they'll be alright. Lesson learned: Side-impact air bags are not unnecessary; in some cases, they're absolutely essential.
In other news, Happy Hanukah! I got a bunch of CD's from my uncles and a mirror from my parents (maybe they feel I'm too vain :P). I'm around Ottawa until the 2nd, so call 234-5429 if you want to get together.
