A real update, for once.

I think that I'm finally at a point in my life where the Kyle Paton of 12 years old could find out where he would be in ten years and he'd be happy with the outcome.

I'm living back in St. Catharines which that alone the Kyle of 12 years old would be pissed, especially if he knows where I've been and the things I've seen. But I have my few great friends, an incredible job, and a pleasantly fucked up surrounding.

In the past little bit things have happened that I think eventually might set me on course to some serious and good things.

Work:
I have a great job at Pan Cafe in St. Catharines. It's an all natural organic cafe/restaurant. I finally work in a place with no deep fryer or raw meat. It inspires me and I can wake up at 6:30am every day and be happy about it? Pretty amazing.

School:
I haven't dove into enrolling to anything yet. My dilemma has been going to school for Culinary or Political Science. I can't change the world through cooking, outside of Food Not Bombs. But I can through Political Science. So that is going to be my choice. I've been going to Brock every monday for a Human Geography class, made friends with the professor and am really enjoying the subjects she talks about. Couldn't be happier with her lectures.

Housing:
For the first time in my life I'm starting to feel like I have a home. There were a few problems in the start. But things have been worked out and I think things are going to start getting better.

Play:
I just got a 1956 Ariel Huntmaster 650cc Twin. I couldn't be happier about it. Old british motorcycles are my weak spot and I don't mind sounding like a motorhead when talking about them. I also just got a 26' Olympic sailboat. I got a great deal on it and have been fixing it up. It's ready to be launched in April and is going to be my home for the summer.

When it's all said and done I think where I'm at is a good spot. I just need to wait for a wife and kids to fall in place and live the american dream and leave them for a man, Dave Starr.

I don't even know who uses this thing anymore. I just saw Claire on it the other day and thought I'd check it out.

Party time.

-Kyle
