One Step Closer!
Aaaaaah shit, just one step closer to my goal. We played Sherwood two days ago and i got 7 assists! Plus we played issaquah last weekend and i got 3 assists in that game, so i'm up to 33 assists on the season. I'm actually gettin' close to my goal! I'm gettin' excited, but i can't be too confident.
Today we had a half day at school and i honestly was not even there. My brain was not in my head, it just checked out when i woke up, haha. When i got out, i had to go to Bigfoot LAX to get a new lax head and a few stringing kits for some people. So after that i ended up stringing up my two backup sticks, and workin' in my brand new head. So it was a lax oriented day. I also re-arranged some shit in my room and put up a few framed things on my walls just to make it look like i actually live in my room. My walls are so bare with no posters or anything on 'em. Ugh, thank god i did that. I just got done watchin' Spanglish. That was actually a good movie, i was suprised that Adam Sandler could play a sensitive role ya know? I def. liked the movie, i would reccommend it to anyone who wants to check out a good little flick.
Tomorrow (or today i should say) i am waking up at 8:00 so i can go stand in line to get Paul McCartney Tickets. My dad and i own his dvd of his tour in 2003, and ever since we got that we promised eachother we would see him next time he comes out. So i heard that he was comin' and as soon as i heard, i told him and he busted out his wallet and started lookin' online for tickets. We could have gotten some a few days ago but they were shitty tickets, so he wants to spend the extra money to get the best seats possible. So we are waitin' in line tomorrow mornin' (tickets go on sale at 10 AM), so we can be sure to get tickets. I can't wait to see Paul in concert. He is probably one of my role models simply because of what he has gone through, and what he has become. He was a young kid, turned into a rock star, had his ups and downs, but simply learned all the lessons in life, and now he is touching people with his articulate words and actions and that makes me really admire him. He gives so much back to his community, and he is one of the biggest class acts in the whole music industry, its just hard to explain the amount of respect i have for him. Man, can't wait.
