This is Roncha, I found her a forever home with
joxem and she's the reason I'm never ever taking another cat to the vet. Let's say I've been traumatized for life. Although you could say I totally deserved it for shoving her in a box, sealing it with tape and then puncturing holes in it. I know it sounds horrible and it made me feel a horrible horrible person at the time. I still do. In my defense, I'd never transported a cat before - I was raised with dogs - and I was desperate.
The vet was quite amused with my methods until he had to take the cat out of the box. She's two months old and she had to be held down by two grown men before they could give her her shots and I think I've never seen a cat with its hackles raised so high. At least the vet had the insight to lend me a cat carrier so I could take her to her forever home.
Next time I find a cat a home, I'm not offering myself to take it there. Puppies I can deal with, kittens... not so much apparently. And talking about puppies, this is the new member of my household.
