Phonetics is out to get me.
So, I have this class called Phonetics and Phonology, right? Well, I have to do some transcriptions for tomorrow. This would be normal and I would do it without any problem if it weren't for one teeny tiny detail... The text I have to transcribe is in a cassette and none of the cassette players I've gotten my hand on seem to be working. I even got on my car, drove to a friends house when I can't see during the night because I'm blind as a bat and driving in the dark scares the living daylights out of me to try to play it in her cassette player and it didn't work.
WHY ON EARTH DO WE HAVE SUCH OUTDATED TECHNOLOGY IN THE LAB?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO MY HOMEWORK NOW?! Fuuuck. And to make things worse I'm absolutely sure the teacher is going to ask me to the front to give my answers tomorrow. I can't even ask one of my classmates to let me copy their answers because no one has a cassette player anymore!
