The PS3 and my gaming styles.
So I guess I'm what you call the "Typical girl who plays video games" I like J-RPGS and "shallow games" I guess because I don't own a 360 or because I'm not a fan of FPS. I'm not a "real gamer"...
*sigh* This shit pops up all the time. All this crap about "Liner" games. Please...spare me... Everyone has their style of games. I like what I like. I really enjoyed FF13. I guess being a fan of the series since I was a kid has left me open minded about the direction the games can go. I think a lot of people who got into the game have done so around 7. Not that I don't think its a good game but, I don't think its THE FINAL FANTASY game that a lot of people make it out to be. In my opinion six was the best. Do I think if you don't share that opinion you are not a "real gamer"? No. Because people like what they like. I personally believe that the louder you scream about your favorite type of game genre being better than any other, the more you don't believe it. The gaming community has been torn apart by "casual" gamers. Those who spend 10 hours a week or less playing sports games or FPS. Not all but a good chunk. The majority of them I find to be Xbox users. Again its a general statement but so is saying "All people who play JRPGs are pussies or girls who arn't real gamers" One of my gamer friends sent me a link of screen caps messages female players have gotten when playing a games. Especially from a certain genre...

Gaming use to be such a fun fandom. Now it sucks so hard. So what if I have a PS3? So what if I like Dynasty Warriors? So what if I like RPGS/JRPGS does it really matter? It shouldn't. The fact that I have a vagina doesn't mean I can't play or enjoy video games. Maybe you're just the sad and pathetic one because you have no real friends and girls get creeped out that you play video games. So I'm going to go back to enjoying what I do. Playing video games. Which is something I've been doing since I was a kid. I don't need your opinion on whither or not you think I'm fat and ugly because I play video games. Logic is circular. ^_^.
