Fandoms have been pissing me off lately.
Again with the one person who has to ruin it for everyone else. (FYI BEFORE PEOPLE GO CRYING ABOUT SHIT I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT GIN SO STFU)
There is always one person or three that seem to ruin a fandom. Lately, it seems people always start shit about something that they are not a fan of.
In my video game fandom people keeps starting shit about Dynasty Warriors and Final Fantasy saying stupid shit like "Real Gamers don't play Final Fantasy or Dynasty Warriors because they are repetitive and/or require no talent" I'd like to take time to say "FUCK YOU" I hate this "Real Gamers" bullshit. You want to complain about repetitive? So let's go back to the savior of the game console. Mario. IT DOESN'T GET ANY MORE REPETITIVE THAN THAT! You have two buttons. One jumps and lets you run faster and another lets you occasionally shoot fireballs. So who would say "A real gamer doesn't play Mario, because its repetitive and doesn't require talent"? You wouldn't. I hate FPS. They annoy the shit out of me. Not because I think the game play is bad but because I can't stand people that play FPS. They constantly talk down on other people that don't play FPS. How is FPS not repetitive? You shoot people then look for more people to shoot. Maybe I'm smoking crack but I believe that when you do the same action over and over again its called "repeating" and the adjective form of "repeat" is "repetitive" All games are repetitive. For a game to not be repetitive you would have to make it unplayable. It would have to change play engines every action or confrontation. You would start out as an RPG then go to FPS then side scroller than action than into a dance game. Not in different chapters though, it would have to occur every "battle" or "fight" For two fights to have the same engine would cause it to repeat and thus the game would be "repetitive" Doesn't sound too fun does it? No, it sounds annoying as shit.
The second fandom thats been pissing me off is Vocaloid.
Fantwats run rampant in Vocaloid fandom. Shit got started earlier this year when someone started bitching about what Miku's item is. FYI internet it is not a leek. It is a green onion. Shall I explain? YES. Her item comes from the parody of "Loituma Girl" In it a character from Bleach named "Orihime Inoue" Who is spinning a Green Onion. Because the word "negi" and "leek" are both short words, the dub placed the word "leek" instead of "green onion" or "scallion" Then "Loituma Girl" became knows as "leekspin" in English. When Leven Polka came out with Miku, she was commanding a Green Onion but it was still called "leekspin" Is there a difference? Yes. Is it that important? No. Why am I making a big deal? Because some douche jumped all over a girl who called it a green onion stating that she knew nothing about Miku because her item was a leek. Other douches came to his defense saying. "He's right its a leek!" but its not. So instead of saying "I'm pretty sure its a leek" he called the girl names and made fun of her when he was wrong all along and everyone agreed. Fast forward someone starts shit again when someone else mentions that they want Meiko and Kaito to be in the new vocaloid concert. "ITS ONLY FOR VOCALOID 2! STOP WHINING I'M SICK OF IT!" Nowhere does it say its only for V2. Despite that everyone again agrees that some annoying yelling asshole is right and that people "Whining about Meiko and Kaito not being in the concert is annoying." I'm sorry that your favorite is Luka or Miku or Rin or whatever but I would think that you would be bummed if they were left out. Likewise you'd say "Man I hope they are in there." In fact I clearly remember you being upset that ____ wasn't in the first Miku concert by saying "This concert would be 100x better if ___ was in it!" So STFU.
So, In short. Sukisho. I like what I like and it can't be helped. I don't care what games you like, I don't care what vocaloid you like. I don't care what DA group you like, I don't care what anime you like, I don't care what animal you like, I don't care what country you like, I don't care what music you like, I don't care what computer you like, I don't care what brands you like, I don't care what TV shows you like, I don't care what food you like...
Just back off what I like or don't like. My opinion is mine alone, I don't need someone telling me that they don't like Japan for this reason or that they don't like Playstation for that reason or that only little girls watch magical girl anime or that they think Hiro sounds like a cat being murdered. I've made it this far in life by being dedicated to what I like. If I decide I don't like it, that's fine however, don't bring your negative comments into my life to try to persuade me other wise. I loved Pretty Cure but I became disheartened with how the series went, Not because people (Including Daisuke Asakura himself) made fun of me for liking it.
I won't tell you what to like and I hope that you can respect my choices.
