doctor visit, pt. 2
Went back for a follow up and a physical.
Same nurse helped me. Took my height. 6' 1.25"... Apparently I've lost two inches... in heighth!.
This comes back to haunt me later in the appointment because they use height and weight to determine BMI. The doctor said I'm overweight. I know I want to shred a few, but I have a phobia of being overweight. Not vanity, just a phobia.
So the nurse takes my blood pressure. It's a lot lower than the first time. 134/72. Boom goes the dynamite on that test!
Doctor comes in a asks how I'm doing. I say my back hurts. She asks why... Eventually we get to my separated shoulder. She wants a look. I show her. The doctor winces. What the?
Then she changes subject. Since I'm so awesome and young, I don't need a prostate check. phew!
But I need a front end check. She's kind of timid about it. She obviously doesn't know my opinion on pants. I also discovered this must be my first physical ever because I've never done the cough before. I don't understand it. Can some guys not cough in that situation?
All in all, now I have to go back to the hospital for an EKG and also back to the doctor because I fasted too long before the appointment so they couldn't do blood work.
Geesh, I just wanted some antibiotics for my sickness... but it looks like I have developed an allergy. Dangs. I thought I was immune to the allergies.
I got prescribed some muscle relaxers. Went to Hy-Vee. Found out new customers get a $25 gift card for getting drugs there. Yay for free food!
