1. They bond over a shared love of White Snake, both the band and the strain of weed. Lois' trust fund fuels plenty of weekends following the band, and Francine's ability to flash her tits with aplomb gets them backstage more often than not. Even years later, the women sometimes come across their sorority pins and think about calling the other - but then they both just assume the other has OD'd in Slash's bathroom or something

"Suits"-verse always ends up on the melodramatic side, and I reaaaalllly just want to see Lois and Francine together in any capacity.

Since I don't know "House of M" super-well, here's, uh, something like it?

Being powerless is grating. Being powerless is like being nothing, and having to move at speeds like normal humans is enough to drive a person crazy. Pietro Maximoff wonders, sometimes, if he is crazy. Crazy for thinking his sister would spare him, crazy for thinking his father would still accept him. Genosha is a mutant paradise, and Pietro is no longer a mutant.

"Father."

Magneto does not even turn to look at him. "You cannot be here," he intones. "I'm sorry."

"If you were sorry, you'd let me stay!" Pietro cries, slamming his fist against the wall, wincing as his knuckles make contact with the cold metal. "Father, please!" Says you who's written like three Genosha 'fics. :P Anyway, I loved this, way more than I'm loving the super-cheesy OAS episode of the Wolverine and Captain Amurrica (yes, it exists) show. Poor Pietro, having to slum it with the flat-scans.

Yes, but my Genosha fics are based on the general gist of the "House of M"-verse and probably do not resemble it in any other way. In any case, I'm glad you liked it :)

Also, we are WATCHING THAT EPISODE when I get home because I love me some Corporal Canada.

They stay in the Brotherhood house until Nick Fury tracks them down again. He offers a salary, better accomodations, and all of the adventure they can handle.

"Agents of SHIELD," Pietro crows, admiring his new uniform.

"Whatever," Wanda replies, trying to pull her boots on. "Dad's flipping his shit, you know."

Pietro shrugs. "So what?" he counters. "This is awesome! We're like real government agents, now!"

Wanda scowls, as she is wont to do. "Can you see why he'd be flipping his shit?" she asks. It's no secret how Magneto feels about SHIELD and the government in general.

Pietro strikes a pose. "Nevermind," he tells her, pulling her to a standing position and angling her so she can see both of them in the mirror. "We look hot!"

She pouts, but in the back of her mind, she has to agree.

Pietro makes it a point to piss off his dad. This is why Wanda is Magneto's favorite. Also, give the boy a form-fitting uniform and he will do anything you want.
