I really liked this. The torture was definitely graphic, but it was just the right amount of taste in the descriptions, and the ultimate goal was, of course, feeling empathy for Anakin and wondering when/how he would finally get rescued. Beautifully rendered, etc., etc. You know how much I love everything you write, woman. ♥

I'd like to say "ouch," but I think I did that last time. So I'll focus on the happy-ish ending instead: The Team, surviving again in spite of all the odds. Every day, they do the impossible.

I get a lot of comments about how mean I am to the characters or whatever, but what you said is kind of the point - before everything goes all tits-up in RotS, these guys were The Team, and they went through a lot of stuff to make them as close as they were, which makes the whole thing so much more tragic. So, uh, yeah.

I guess it would be OOC for Obi-Wan to say to himself, "In case of torture, reveal all," and just be an actor, crying and screaming and what not, so that Anakin would not hurt this badly. I came closer to disliking Obi-Wan in this story than in any other; I hope Anakin's up to drinking and throwing up on Ahsoka's head soon!

It was really hard to get Obi-Wan in character in this one, because the immediate instinct is to have him protect at all costs - but that's Anakin, not Obi-Wan. It's hard to find the balance.
