Jumping off Bridges onto Moving Trains

So, you know how you get to points in your life when you don't feel like you're really going anywhere or doing anything and it's all Stasis and such, and so you're like, "ok, God - where do I need to be? What do I need to be doing?" And God's all like "You're exactly where I want you. Chill out." And you're like, "But I'm not doing anything! I need to be working towards something, I've got to have goals! a plan! direction!" And God's like "I'll tell you when it's time." Cause you know, God's like that.

And weeks go by and then God says "Ok, it's coming." And you'll all like "Great! I'm ready! Let's do this!" And God's like, "No, not yet. But soon." And you'll all, "Fine, just say the word."

And then God says the word, and it's like jumping off a bridge onto a speeding train, and it takes your breath away how quickly and completely you're moving in a new direction, and you're hanging on for dear life while the train speeds down these tracks and you're not entirely sure where they lead, and you're afraid and thrilled and exhilerated and terrified all at the same time, and you'll all like "Whoa - I was barely ready for that - Good thing God knows what God's doing."

Yeah, it's kinda like that.
