Mother's Day: A day appointed for honoring mothers and those mothers whom contributed, dedicated and sacrificed for their children, so that their children could succeed in whatever endeavor they wish to attain, while instilling within them the morals and values to help bring peace and harmony to our society. i never thought of mothers day in such a way, but i agree. and luckily i am one of those that could forgive my mother, i know that she loves me very much. todays a happy day! :)

well, i didnt do much except for work, but i did get to talk to my mom, mystep mom, and my granny. i think what made me happy is when i talked to my granny and my uncles just walked through the door. it made me happy to hear her so happy. i wish that i could have been there with them, but was happy anyway.

Now I feel bad. Because of the move, I couldn't really do anything for my mom for Mother's Day. I did give her a card though and I know she appreciated that, so that's at least something, but it's not nearly enough.

That was truly beautiful. I hope your mother was kind to you growing up and even if she made mistakes, that you have forgiven her. It sounds like, with this maturity that if you have any demons in this department, they are subsiding. I was lucky to have a mother there for me in *most* cases and though there are things that I can't forgive her for, I love her and my love for her has overcome any bit of spite I have.
