Oh, I forgot to record last week's dramatic outburst. Thursday evening Ben went with me to drop my car off at the shop to get the air fixed. When we got back to Midtown, we met up with Colter and decided to go to Atlantic Station so Colter could use the gift card he got at Old Navy. Before we left OW, we ran into James Brink and Jason Campbell. They decided to meet us at Old Navy. It turns out that James and Jason (not Jason Campbell) broke up just a few days before in a giant fury of screaming. Jason had supposedly returned to Knoxville for good. Anyway, we left James and Jason C. to go to Publix to buy squash and olive oil (Ben wanted to cook). We came back to my house and had some lovely pork roast and stew, with Andy on the side.

Later on that night, just as I was getting ready to go to bed, someone knocks on my door. It turned out to be Jason (the ex) and some unknown child (girl, like 10 years old). He tells me that he has stolen his uncle's truck and has driven down from Knoxville to take James back. He asks me if I have seen James, and I told him that he probably had gone home to Snellville. He calls Jason C. on my phone and insists that Jason C. not tell James that he's coming back to find him. Of course, Jason C. immediately calls James, and James flees to his ex-wife's house.

When Jason (the ex) arrives in Snellville, he doesn't find James at home, so he breaks a window and tries to find evidence of James's location. He figures out that James is at the ex-wife's house, so he heads over there. James sees him pulling in and hides in a closet. The ex-wife lets Jason in, but doesn't tell him that James is there. So Jason uses the ex-wfie's phone to call James, who is hiding in a closet in the same house. Obviously James didn't have any interest in taking him back, so Jason left for Knoxville the next morning-- in the stolen truck.

It also turns out that he stole $60 of gas on his trip down here.
Drama much? I'm glad I was only involved for about 5 minutes.
It was the first time I'd seen James in 6 months. Why does it not suprise me that so much drama would follow such a short encounter?
