right ok... if I cared I would say this is infuriating. But I don't. But I don't like it anyways:
Ok to SUM THIS UP: I'm not much better than him. Basically the thing WRONG with this book is that -athough he does point out some obvious flaws in the system- the author doesn't actually properly introduce, explain, or support his own theory/ies.
For one thing He takes an hour and a half to get to the POINT. All he had to do was say: "Here is a simple explanation that will clear up all the nonsense they cram into your head during science class in high school. That is the Theory of everything." Then simply state that "the theory is..." You could argue that he is trying to give us an insight and explain the existing theories to disprove them, but he's not. All that he does is bash the said 'facts' over and over. On that note this theory is the equivalent of saying: "the meaning of life is: *drumroll* NOTHING!" All he does is dance around his own subject and present the whole introduction over again in the very last paragraph. The actual "theory" would be viable, if the author managed to prove something... which he didn't. Oh and if he managed to clearly state it. Reading this is like an exercise in NOT banging your head on the table. Get to the POINT! I'm not saying everything he said is pointless, because there is the odd bit of inetersting info. But for the most part... It is bullshit that could go somewhere with proper guidance.
*nodnod* I felt the same way while reading it. XD Recycled trash. If there was that much truth in it, then he wouldn't bother making another circle around the subject EVERY SINGLE TIME he got the teensiest bit close. -_- It was like one of those terrible essays people churn out and unleash upon unknowing editors where nothing really happens but somehow it winds up being twenty long pages that slowly pulverise your weak hopes of there being an actual point. Hum.
