Well, that romance didn't last long. Just hours after seeming to settle down with the game, I find myself turning my back on Star Trek Online. The frustration factor is just way too high for me to have any FUN ( ... )

Ooooohkay - stuff in Skyrim is going better now that I've turned the difficulty level down. So, what next? A calm, measured approach to training within the game? A quiet day away from the "stress"?

Still no SKYRIM. There were comics, though - but somehow I missed Avengers vs X-Men #1 (grrrrr). The trial version security suite on the laptop is showing evidence of a problem that's been around for over TWO years.

Today's Highlight... AVENGERS was awesome again, with added perfect lighting for the mid-credits teaser (thanks, NPH). I can start to see THOR 2 coming together.

Back to this movie - news just in is that AVENGERS did indeed make £15.7 MILLION in its opening week. Sweeeeeet...

The laptop got given another chance yesterday, and was okay. Tonight, it couldn't get out of a reboot, just like before. I'm sick of this shit.

I'm also sick of the shit surrounding graphics cards, as in "which does what?" There must be some arcane code that explains which is better than which - and I don't know it. I do NOT want to go buying ( ... )

Oksy, so that's the laptop out of action - it's doing that "can't reboot properly" thing again, and that, combined with other occasional issues, means it's... well, it's fired. I have been looking for a replacement for some time, and will be looking a bit harder in the next few days, with a view to making a purchase before my birthday ( ... )

Well, that's half a weekend gone, and no Prisoner. I also blew watching Taxi Driver with minutes to spare - and the laptop still hasn't finished its virus scan...

Update - Four bloody hours. It took FOUR hours...
