A So-So Saturday Of Sorts
Sorry about yesterday, friends - this is the playtest weekend for Star Trek Online Season Seven, and I really wanted to get in my hour's play to qualify for goodies. And then there was my Saturday shopping trip to consider...
Wish I hadn't. Went with modestly high hopes, and came back with underwear. At least I got some smartphone writing done... and the draft of this post. Looks like the new toy delivered in a not exactly ideal environment!
Development News... Sooooo, about that writing... which is the mid-section (heh) of Chapter 3 of the Shadow City lead-in to WORLDS COLLIDE. Things are moving along - slowly - but I am thinking that maybe things need to, well, change somehow. A "New 52" for the Confederacy and Dominion? Not quite - more a fresh stepping-on point, with the storylines and "properties" more precisely defined, instead of sprawling as they seem to be doing just now. Recent stories are moving like you do at a rock festival - picking your way through a crowd, carefully choosing your steps, only to find you've managed to swerve off your planned course, and you're almost as far from your destination as when you started...
...and bang goes another posting deadline. Well, that last bit rather needed to be said. More stuff to think about...
