Goodbye Roof Wars, Hello Window Wars
Huh.
Our roof may be done, and officially completed, but the next big project is still steadfastly refusing to "kick off", namely getting the damn windows replaced. I've written about this before, but the whole DAMN thing is still going round and round in circles, so much so that it just earned its own name: WINDOW WARS: "This Time, It's Double-Glazed..."
Meanwhile... This morning, I completed a long-running project at work, involving heaps of scanning and stuff. Needless to say, I was very pleased by this achievement - for all of three minutes. Three minutes, then a bunch of new paperwork, my usual work, showed up. Bugger.
Hey, it's two weeks and two days 'til you go on holiday, so buck up...
...errrr, oh crap. I hadn't thought about that. This weekend is going to be a busy one, I suspect. I need to get my personal objectives worked out ("1: relax; 2: find 'The Holy Grail', no matter the cost; 3: complete Mission 101 tasks" seem to cover it) and sketch out a preliminary packing list - I'm needing to "pack light" this time, but I also want to "pack to relax", like my hotel stay for Patent Saturday '11...
