Various Stuff Gnawing On My Day...
Okay, I admit it - ya caught me watching Twilight. To be honest, it's not that bad - perhaps the movie is lacking several long soppy girly angst passages or something.
Gadget News... Just bought myself a digital dictation machine. Not exactly the most fun gadget around, but talking through storylines and plot threads does seem to be beneficial - and this way, I don't lose any stray thoughts that might melt away into the ether, and have something to wave in people's faces if they give me a funny look for seemingly talking to myself in the street. Why would that be such a big deal these days, anyway, with all the damn mobile phones?
Development News... That's Chapter 2 of the Traveller/Adventurers' Guild of Kraan crossover in the bag, and now, things get interesting. UPDATE! O.M.F.G. I just had a seriously major idea! Stay tuned for more on "Plan Atavus"...
Elsewhat... I guess I should be outraged by the latest religious politician to cry "wolf" about "militant secularism", but there are 1900+ comment-posters probably making the exact same points I might. The "baroness" has got to be joking when she even mentions "religion" and "tolerance" in the same breath - the "militant secularism" she abhors is a whole bunch more tolerant than her bunch, or any others will ever be. The "totalitarian regimes" she compares secularism with pretty much run on religion, and woe betide any who dare to step outside the boundaries of "the state-authorised religion".
