The Far Side Of The Weekend.
That's better.
Yeah, I'm rather glad to see the back of this weekend past. It ended with a near "crash-and-burn" for my book-binding Mission 101 Task, as the piece I've been working on went messily wrong, and I retreated to the bed-room to catch the football on the radio, rather than risk pushing my luck.
Today, things went better. I got my new ID card, and that means discounts at several Mission-relevant outlets in town, whilst the book-binding was salvaged somewhat as I switched to my back-up project, and made substantial progress - some gluing, some sewing, and it will be DONE. And that, as far as I'm concerned, will count as a Task *SCORE*.
Now, I just need another Task to complete before the end of the week, and I should be able to hold my head up for a change, come end-of-the-month report time. Oh, hold on - what about52 - Complete some craft projects I've started
- that continual thorn in my side? I finish off one modified garment, and that, too, is a *SCORE*!
And finally... Holy sZQt - is summer here...?
