In Today's Episode... "Mane-of-Night: Flight 102 Is Overdue" nears its conclusion as The Traveller and the Skylance fleet attempt a tricky manoeuvre that may just prevent another incident like the crash of Flight One Zero Two - and they're not the only people to know about it. Meanwhile, things get...interesting for another of our heroines...
Development News... Still working on that epilogue. Think I have a CSI New York between me and completion.
Today's Highlight... I would strongly recommend, dear reader, that you go and see The King's Speech. This isn't quite "my kind of movie", but everyone should see something "outside their envelope" now and again. The world of pre-World War II British royalty comes under the microscope, by way of one man's stammer, a rather critical problem as the world of kings and princes crosses paths with the rising technology of broadcast radio, but this isn't all about titles and privilege. It's a very human tale, with some blinding performances - there should definitely be Oscar shouts for star Colin Firth and especially co-star Geoffrey Rush (I'd say ROBBED at the Golden Globes). Britain may do quite a lot of this kind of historical film, but you can't deny we do it well.
The Final Verdict Hard to judge against my normal criteria, but definitely worth the effort of going to see. 8/10
Meanwhile... One down, three to go - house viewings in this 72-hour stretch, I mean. Next is tomorrow - and bang goes another shot at a lie-in...
