The December AND 2010 Mission 101 Update!

And so, Year 1 of my Mission 101 comes to an end. It's been a very positive thing, despite the limited number of completed tasks, but strong progress has been made on several multi-part tasks, most of which should count as completed when September 28 2012 comes along. A long way to go yet, and plenty of opportunities to shine... but first, let's tie up 2010!
The December SCORE! Column... I may not be actively using said piece of furniture, and it may not be 100% what I'm looking for, but I can say I've fulfilled the criteria for 87 - Get a decent computer desk that DOESN'T have a metal frame!
- once i get the chance to "road-test" the item in question, I'll know for certain!
Also, I have a NEW TASK! 99 - Reach an audience!
The idea behind this one is that I receive meaningful feedback, on at least a semi-regular basis, for the various public Tasks and projects I carry out. deviantART.com will certainly help things along - but for a start, I need to start producing postable material - tasters of "mainstream" chapters, perhaps...?
Finally, I have reassigned Task 64, which got the chop in November. This now reads64 - Complete The Move without any serious drama
- an achieveable goal if the rest of the universe will just let me get on with it!

9 - Cook dinner at least once a month (10/33 +2)
19 - Visit five cities not on my regular "list" (1/5) - Perth; 1st August 2010
27 - See one stage show a year - Doctor Who Live - Glasgow SECC; 15 October 2010
28 - Watch one "classic" film for each month of my Mission (11/33)
29 - Buy a book a month from an actual bookshop (12+1/33)
31 - Thank three personal influences in person (1/3)- Seasick Steve; 1 August 2010
33 - Buy at least three pages of original comic art (1/3)
42 - Get comic orders in more promptly (11/33)
65 - Celebrate each and every Spiritwalk (May 22) and Patent Saturday (December 1) like they really mean something (which they do!) (1/3, 1/2)
90 - Go to at least five concerts (2/5)
- Kiss - Glasgow SECC; 9th May 2010
- Seasick Steve - Perth Concert Hall; 1st August 2010
98 - See each of the "Avengers" cycle of movies on opening day! (1/4)
- Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), Captain America - The First Avenger (2011), Avengers (2012)
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how things've gone. I can see several of the "in progress" Tasks reaching fruition in plenty of time for "Zero Day" - I already have a third concert lined up for Task 90, and half of Task 98 can get crossed off as 2011's Blockbuster Season gets going. I'm hoping to be more creative this year, particularly once I get moving house out of the way...
