Imminent Extended Weekend-age...!
Am unexpected development: our local community police officer happened by as I was heading for work. It seems that my campaign statement in the paper reached the station, but there don't appear to be any issues, protest-wise - just worries that any protest-related assembly post meeting might exceed the time alloted for the Community Engagement meeting. Worries quite unfounded, I assured him.
Let's hope the effort leads to a decent turn-out.
