Development News... A slight change of routine has opened a window for story development, allowing Chapter 12 to advance this morning. I might not be able to get much done when I go to bed (settle down... get out writing journal... zZzZzZzZz...), but in the morning the ideas are still fairly fresh - the problem is getting them down on paper or screen before lunch. Looks like this might work.
In The News... Should a certain political party be allowed to have its leader on the top political debate show on British TV, even though said party are, to put it bluntly, racists? I would say "yes, so that he, and the rest of his party, can be judged by their own words, and not government-approved spin". I would much rather see 100,000 complaints going in to the BBC than have this New Labour Government dictate who can and can not speak for the people - one of them already tried...
Are this Government afraid of having to engage in uncomfortable debates? They better get used to them, 'cause the election is due in about seven months.
