Hello,
I've been looking for a fic I read years ago, unfortunately I do not remember the title or author. It was like a poem, simply genius, in my opinion. It kind of started like:
"Picture the night sky like cocaine on a black dress; I am an epic sunrise and they call me the man on the moon"
In the story Ryan is a rich kid, he lives in Vegas and because of this he thinks he can never be alone or cold because the neon signs produce heat, then he states to "live in a filthy rich neighborhood where the streets are clean, the lawns are clean and people pretend to be clean". He goes to a coffee shop every day and that's where he meets Brendon, when Brendon smiles at him he thinks "you are prettier than gold, I am essentially alone". Ryan is very obsessed with imported fair-trade coffee and his "African Violate" rug/carpet.
I don't wish to make this longer or more confusing, so I hope you guys can help me find it; I've been a little depressed as of late and reading this would make me feel better :)
