Hello, hello~! I am Fran Madaraki, creation (although "daughter" is a more fitting word) of the famous biochemist Naomitsu Madaraki, and what a charming community I seem to have stumbled upon. Those of you whom I have already met, it was a pleasure indeed. Those of you whom I have not, I look forward to making your acquaintance ( Read more... )

I must be honest. Some of these procedures don't look safe, or even possible, for that matter.

Sometimes a risk is required to produce results~ And they are all very possible, I assure you.

I'm aware of the necessity of risks. And I'm afraid I still can't quite understand how some of these are possible.

I am completely supportive of the advancement of science, but I just don't see how any of this is beneficial.

It's too complicated to give you all the details, if not also a bit confidential.

Well, I admit that a few were for superficial reasons, but the girl with the caterpillar body, for instance, had been near death after being run over by a car; her arms and legs were ruined. The metamorphosis ended with her having a brand new body - a better alternative, I think, to using prosthetics.

Yes, I can see why. It doesn't look at all easy to explain.

I can understand the reasoning behind that one at least, even if I don't quite agree that a caterpillar body is better than prosthetics. Are these kinds of procedures the norm in your world?

Just leave it to the experts, hmm~?

The caterpillar body was only temporary; it was shed after her organs and muscles and such had been re-created. It's a specialized field, really~ People either seek me out or cross my path unintentionally; sometimes I charge them, sometimes not~

I usually do.

Wait, so she regained normal human form afterwards? This is completely different from anything I've ever encountered.

Yes, she did. A nice, fresh new body~ My results often seem to provoke that type of reaction....

...I've no idea how that's possible, but it's rather amazing from a scientific perspective. And I can see why they'd provoke these reactions.

The wonders of science never ceases to amaze me. Really? I've never been bothered.

it's because she looks flat-chested orzzz marvelous_ruin December 12 2008, 04:27:03 UTC
Nor I. Yes, that's understandable, as well, seeing as you're used to performing these... operations.

Regardless, they are all normal people in the end, just with a few alterations. I don't understand the fuss being raised here. Would you believe they called me insane?

Normal in some ways, perhaps. And yes, actually, I can believe that.
